Campground Rules and Regulations
Smoking:
Smoking is allowed at the campground, however, not within 50feet of the buildings. Please help keep the campground clean by not throwing your butts on the ground.
Playground and Swim Area:
The playground is a service that we offer and is available for anyone to use at their own risk. That being stated, those that are under the age of 18 MUST be accumulated by an adult at all times. Please treat things gently and do not damage the equipment. There will be cameras installed to make sure that the equipment is being used properly. If something is broken by accident, we accept that, and will repair on our own dollar; however, if a persons’ or child damages the equipment, empties the entire sandbox, paints on the equipment, or does anything damaging to the property or equipment that is not an accident, it will be added to the guests’ bill and it will be the guests’ responsibility to pay for a replacement/s.
There is no lifeguard on duty at the swim area. Swim at your own risk. Swimming is not permitted after dark.
Children Conduct:
Those that are under the age of 18 MUST be accommodated by an adult at all times. This includes, in the water, at the playground, in the main building, and while biking, walking or any other activity.
Children under the age of 18 are to be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Camper’s children’s behavior is Camper’s responsibility. Please advise all children of the Campground rules. Children need to comply with the verbal requests for the safety of themselves or others. Children are not to cut or walk through other campsites. They are not to be off campsites after 11 p.m. unless they are with the parent or other responsible adult. An adult camper must supervise children 17 years of age or younger, staying overnight. All children must be supervised while in the shower buildings.
Alcohol:
No one under 21 is to be drinking alcohol in the Campground. Only legal beverages of Pennsylvania are allowed on site. We reserve the right to take keys from intoxicated individuals.
Fires and Firewood:
Fires are only permitted within designated fire rings located on the campsites. Fire rings are available upon request.
Firewood cannot be transported into or used in this facility that has not been purchased through Robinson's Family Campground. This is recommended by the Pennsylvania Division of Forestry. This greatly reduces the spread of forest diseases and insects and helps protect the state park’s woodlands.
Quite Hours:
Quiet hours are in effect and shall be observed and enforced from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. This includes, but is not limited to, playing music, loud talking, and the use of generators and other powered equipment shall not be operated during quiet hours.
Firearms and Fireworks:
Uncased weapons, including, firearms and bows and arrows are prohibited within the boundaries of Robinson's Family Campground, unless otherwise designated by special event permit, i.e. permitted hunts as defined and administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources. Firearms should never be discharged within the boundaries of the campground.
Absolutely no fireworks on property at any time, unless handled by the owners of Robinson’s Family Campground.
Wildlife/Hunting/Fishing:
Wildlife is not to be fed within the park boundaries. Care should be used in the disposal of food and garbage to avoid wildlife encounters. No explosive materials or other dangerous substances are permitted. This includes fireworks.
Hunting is not allowed within campground boundaries. Fishing within park boundaries requires a valid Pennsylvania Fishing License.
Pets:
We are a pet-friendly campground, as we love our four-legged family members as much as you do. We do, however, ask that you respect the rules of the campground and your fellow campers. All pets must be leashed (please no retractable leashes) at all times, as not all pets and owners are as friendly as the next. The pet owner is responsible for cleanup and pet behavior, including barking. Pets should not be left unattended. Pet owners are required to have a current vaccination certificate(s) and license(s) available upon request. Pets are not permitted in or near any buildings, bathrooms, or playground areas due to health codes (Service dogs are exempt.).
Motorized Vehicles:
Motorcycles, ATVs, and other unlicensed motorized transportation units are prohibited for use within the boundaries of Robinson's Family Campground, unless otherwise authorized. We will allow vehicles such as golf carts, UTVs (with full roll cage), electric bikes, and scooters, upon inspection of vehicles. Robinson’s Family Campground reserves the right to use golf carts and utility vehicles for service purposes within the Campground boundaries.
Posted speed limits must be obeyed within park boundaries, if not posted, speed limit is 5mph. There are many users of the roads in this facility, thus safety is of utmost importance.
No object may be driven into or attached to any tree, shrub, rock, sign, building or other object or structure in the campground. Trenching or digging in a campsite is prohibited. Trimming of trees, branches, and other native areas is prohibited unless otherwise agreed upon.
No bicycle, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, golf carts, scooters may be ridden in a campground after dark, unless it is equipped with lights on both front and rear and the lights are turned on while the vehicle is being ridden.
PA State Law requires that all children under 15 years of age must wear helmets when riding their bicycles.
Other Campsites Guidelines:
-Ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by State Law. Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed into sewer drains. Do not put grease down the sewer. Sewer connections are required by state law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut or sewer ring or a screw-type connector.
-No nudity. This is a family campground with children. Please do not dress or undress on any open area. There are washrooms, and your personal campers for such activities.
-All trash should be placed in the disposal receptacles, where provided. If no such trash receptacles are available, then trash shall be carried away from the park area by the camper to be properly disposed of elsewhere.
-For safety reasons, do not fish where there is swimming occurring.
-Please leave rest rooms and washrooms in a neat and sanitary condition. Including turning the heat back to the appropriate setting if you have changed it.
